Practical information
Travel to Iceland
Travel from Europe to Iceland is easy as frequent flights from several airports/cities in Europe are offered. Two Icelandic airlines are operated: Icelandair and Wow Air .
Transfer from the airport
A bus goes to Reykjavik in connection with all flights. It is called FLYBUS and you see it in front of the terminal building. It brings passengers to BSÍ Bus Terminal, near to the capital's centre. Please be aware that you must buy the ticket inside the terminal building. From the bus terminal you will be transported with a small bus to your hotel. Please note that you have to inform the bus company of the name of your hotel. The price is ISK 4.500 for a round trip.
Currency exchange
At the airport you will find a bank where you can exchange money. Please note that e.g. the
Euro is not commonly accepted in shops but you can use your credit card almost everywhere (even for small amounts). The exchange rate changes daily, which you can follow on the website of the Central Bank of Iceland.
Accommodation
Rooms at Radisson Blu Hotel Saga have been reserved for you. Should you want to stay somewhere else, please inform us as soon as possible.
What to bring
We recommend bringing a warm coat, warm clothes and waterproof shoes. The weather can be unpredictable in Iceland. Weather forecast in Iceland, the Icelandic Met Office.
